How does the smokeless fire pit work?

You start the fire in the inner drum the same way you would any other fire. Use some fire lighters and wood or charcoal.

Once the fire gets going and heats the fire pit up that’s when the magic happens.

There is a small gap between the inner and outer drum walls. Hot air from the base of the fire rises up between this gap and is heated further between the steel walls.

Once the heated air hits the top rim it is forced towards the center of the fire pit opening. When this heated air hits the particulate in the smoke a second combustion takes place.

Essentially a second flame is created that burns off uncombusted particulate that would otherwise have escaped as smoke. Once the fire gets up to temperature you can expect up to 70% reduction in smoke.
